Landfill & Collection Center Permit Application:

Only Bedford County residents or owners of County property are allowed to dispose of residential waste in the landfill or at waste collection centers. Residents or property owners delivering waste in vehicles without County decals may apply for a Landfill & Collection Center Permit. Vehicles without a County decal or a Permit will not be allowed to dispose of waste.

Permits are not required for residents and property owners who operate a vehicle with a valid County decal displayed on their windshield.

If you are utilizing a vehicle without a valid County decal you may apply below or contact Bedford County’s Department of Solid Waste at 540-586-7656.

When you receive your permit, please display it on your car dashboard when you dispose of waste at County facilities.
