NEW DIGS: The Bedford County Sheriff's Office moved into their new facility in 1998 which houses not only the command and control center for the BCSO but also the new state-of-the-art E-911 dispatch center for not only the Sheriff's Office, but also county-wide fire and rescue, the Bedford City Police Department and the Virgimia Department of Game & Inland Fisheries.

This new facility was designed from the inital concept and built from the ground up to enhance every aspect of the Sheriff's Office's law enforcement activities.

From this command and control center, the Sheriff, his deputies and staff execute their duties with efficiency and precision.

Located near the city of Bedford at 1345 Falling Creek Road, the Sheriff's Office facility is positioned exactly in the geographic center of 764-sqaure-mile Bedford County, poising every deputy, every patrol car, every unit for quick response and broad coverage.

This one-of-a-kind facility is yet another example of how the Bedford County Sheriff's Office is leading the way in law enforcement preparedness... for today and for tomorrow.
