2012 Budget Work Session Schedule

Unless othewise noted, all work sessions are held in the Board of Supervisors Meeting Room, Top Floor, or the First floor Training Room of the Bedford County Administration Building, 122 East Main Street. Note that meetings may be added, canceled or rescheduled as the budget process moves forward.

 

  • Tuesday, February 21 --Budget Work Session @ 5 p.m. (changed due to holiday 02.20.12)
  • Monday, February 27 --Budget Work Session @ 5 p.m. Prior to Board Meeting
  • Monday, March 12 --Budget Work Session @ 5 p.m. Approval of Advertisements
  • Monday, March 26 --Work Session – Tentative @ 5 p.m. Prior to Board Meeting
  • Monday, April 2 --Work Session—Tentative @ 5 p.m.
  • Monday, April 9 --Work Session @ 5 p.m. /Public Hearing @ 7:30 p.m.BSTC
  • Thursday, April 12 --Budget Work Session @ 5 p.m. (Thursday -last one prior to adoption)
  • Monday, April 16 --Adopt tax rates (Budget adoption postponed because of late state budget)
  • Monday, May 21 --Budget adoption
